How does this compare to other budgeting systems? I've tried others in the past and felt like I couldn’t spend any money.

Personally Linda and I have found that this method allows us to say YES to much more stuff than NO. Now, there certainly are times where we choose NOT to do things because of our budget, but the thing to remember is that you are not a slave to your budget, it works for you. You get to tell it what and where you want to spend your money. It is basically an agreement with you and your spouse about what is most important to you and where you want to choose to spend your money.

How much time will be involved?

You will be able to get through the course videos in less than an hour. It should take about 2 hours (spread over a week or so) to get the system in place. From there, it will require about 5-10 mins a week to maintain.

What are the requirements?

-You must have 5-10 minutes per week to spend to maintain this system.
-You do NOT need to change banks, but you may want to open a new account at one of our recommended banks that work best with the method. It will likely save you time and just make everything easier.

Does this method work for those with inconsistent or irregular income?

Yes it does. We have been in that boat for over 10 years and it has worked better than anything else for us. We have a specific lesson in the course for those with irregular income.

Should I really spend money to save money?
